One Shot [Short storytelling solo RPG]
A downloadable game
Coyotes howling, a bale of hay rolling.
Slowly, you start counting to ten as you walk.
“Seven, eight, nine…” you are counting, as the tension rises. Then you hit ten. The air is full of the smell of gunpowder, and you and your opponent decide to add more gunpowder smell to the mix.
You both turn around and BANG.
How many gunshots were there? One? Two? And how many people are bleeding now?
In One Shot you are someone, anyone, in the Old Wild West. Not only the bravest cowboy can wield a gun. Tell a touching story of revenge, justice, self-defense or greed, and settle it all in just one shot.
The first time the plot forces you to wield your gun, roll 1D6 and use the result to end your story:
- 1: Your gun clicks
- 2: Your shot misses
- 3: Your shot hits something unexpected
- 4: Your shot lands, but…
- 5: Your shot misses, but it somehow works still
- 6: Your shot lands
Remember, the game ENDS after you shoot, no matter the result.
